Old Playhouses Make Great Dog Dens at AHS//Popcorn Park Animal Shelters
SO, YOU’VE GOT A plastic child’s playhouse sitting in your backyard that your little one no longer uses. You hate to just put it out with the trash, but you don’t know of anyone who really needs one.
Look no further than Associated Humane Societies.
What was once a fun place for your children to have “secret club” meetings, play with their toys or just hang out in, is the perfect cooling off, staying dry and relaxing place for the dogs at our Forked River and Tinton Falls Animal Shelters.
“They are spacious, shaded, colorful and provide the perfect ‘den’ for dogs,” said AHS Executive Director Roseann Trezza. “The Society's dogs enjoy the outdoors and are able to stay in the shade and enjoy the pineland breezes without the sun's strong rays.
Don’t have a playhouse, but would still like to find creative ways to help AHS help animals? We have lots of opportunities - take a look!
