ROCK TO ADOPT EVENT TO SUPPORT AHS//POPCORN PARK

FORKED RIVER, NJ- Ready to have a good time and support Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park? Then rock on down to Rock to Adopt, at Popcorn Park, July 30 and 31 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sponsored by Local Shack, all proceeds go to benefit animal adoption and AHS/Popcorn Park. Rock to Adopt is a family event that will feature the music of local musicians, plus fun activities like face painting, temporary tattoos, and balloons designs. And for adults there will be chair massages and fortune telling. There will also be food and refreshments for purchase. Bands scheduled to play on Saturday are: Kayla Bogan, Guitar Mike Gee, Lo Kloza, Stevie Lightning, Axis, Micro Machines, 50 Miles to Frequency and Samii Stocker. On Sunday: Sergeant Peter Jester, Deep Blue, Mojo Manny, Speaker, Samii Stocker and Kokomos. Wrist bands are $20 per person, which includes one day admission to Popcorn Park, a box of popcorn, and live entertainment. Admission for children ages 2 to 10 is only $10. All children under 2 are free. There’s also a VIP wristband for $30, which includes the mentioned amenities, plus VIP seating for the performances and waitress service for food and beverages.

The goal of Rock to Adopt is to raise money for AHS/Popcorn Park. Event sponsors hope the event raises community awareness of the Societies’ passion to place domestic animals in homes as pets.

“Our gratitude goes out to the folks at Local Shack for planning this great two-day event,” said Roseann Trezza, Executive Director, AHS/Popcorn Park. “It’s going to be a great festival for everyone, but especially the animals that this fundraiser will help.”

For questions or further information on wristband sales, call Peter Jester or Donna Torres, Rock to Adopt Coordinators, 732-281-0754. Coordinators, 732-281-0754.
