Bailey, Barely Escaped Disaster, Now Very Much Loved

Meet Bailey - one of the nine puppies born to Lunchtruck Lily, the elusive mom finally rescued in November from an inner city industrial area scheduled for demolition.

Bailey's had nothing but a life of luxury and play ever since being adopted by the Pisciotta family.  Her many follow-up photos from our home page photo taken in late December to the two here all show the lucky miss, surrounded by soft toys, always sleeping on snuggly bedding and hanging out on her favorite chairs. Her mom, Lynn Pisciotta, writes that Bailey loves sleeping with her toys, and when she awakes, she brings them to Lynn for a game of fetch. She's made great progress in her potty training, and has learned the ups and downs of stairs. But one of her favorite things is napping! Bailey falls asleep with her toys in her mouth, before Lynn can get her coat off, and as soon as she looks at a pillow!

Thanks to the Pisciotta family, whose son works for Perlen Steel, (the company who owns the property where Lily had hidden her babies), for providing Bailey a home with everything she could ever want.

Read here about Bailey's beginnings with mom, Lunchtruck Lily, and their rescue. To help the Society help more dogs and puppies have happy endings like these, donate today!
