When DYFS demanded that a Monmouth County resident remove all pets from the home if he wanted the return of his children, he did so. Although we thought there might be an overreaction to the situation, it was certainly a better life for the animals that were brought to us. The individual brought the 4 cats and 3 dogs to the Society's Tinton Falls animal shelter to be surrendered.

Every cat had was heavily infested with what the owner called "garden fleas". Every cat also had roundworms, coccidia, and required dental care. Thanks to the generosity of donors to our ResQ-Fund, the Society was able to provide all the necessary medical care to Twin, Dalmatian, Baby Boy and Puddles. None had been spayed or neutered.
The dogs were treated for worms, a skin condition and are being helped with food issues. Presently, Dynasty, a 10 year old female mix, is available for adoption.
For more information on these cats and dogs or the many others available to forever homes, please contact us via e-mail or call us at 732-922-0100. All of the above cats and dogs are at the Society's Tinton Falls animal shelter, located at 2960 Shafto Road, near the Route 33-34 Circle and near the Garden State Parkway, Exit 102 (So.), Parkway Exit 100B (North). The Society is open 7 days a week.
If you are unable to give them a home, please help in their healing, and donate to the ResQ-Fund!
