Suffering Junkyard Bulldog Rescued, Named Mario

We call him Mario, in honor of his kind benefactor, a man who was in the area and saw the bloodied English Bulldog near a junkyard. This animal-loving good samaritan brought him to the Society for care. Thanks to the Society's Res-Q Fund, the generosity of donors like yourself allow us to bring him back to health.

For those who are critical of the Society's efforts, this is what we do. We make a positive difference in the life of every animal that comes through our doors.

The huge nails indicates the lack of any care and their length has also affected Mario's gait. Mario the English Bulldog is at the Society's Newark Medical Dept. where he is getting intensive care. This fella will be photographed on a weekly basis during his care so that our donors can see how he is improving.

For more information, contact us or call the Society at 973-824-7080 and refer to Mario, File 108068-M. The Associated Humane Societies is located at 124 Evergreen Ave. in Newark, off of Frelinghuysen Ave. and convenient to Rt. 1 and 9, Rt. 22, the NJ Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway.

Please help us heal Mario, and make a donation to our Res-Q Fund!
