She was left behind and abandoned in an apartment in Seaside Heights when her owners moved out. The 3-4 year old lab/hound mixture was suffering from mange, starvation and was quite sickly. Daphne was discovered and brought to Popcorn Park in March of 2012.

Thanks to the Society's Res-Q Fund, veterinarians gave her intensive care and treatment to relieve the skin condition. Shortly after arrival, she was treated to a spa day at our grooming van, then spayed,
and now she's feeling happy and in good spirits. Daphne is ready for a new home and a responsible family -- one where she will be loved and respected.
For more information on Daphne, call the Society at 609-693-1900 or e-mail us and refer to File L-21335-SF. Daphne is currently in our Popcorn Park animal shelter, located at Humane Way off Lacey Road in Forked River, off Exit 74 of the Garden State Parkway.
