October is a beautiful little pit/hound mix of about 3 1/2 years old that came to us as a stray.  October asks that when you come in to meet her, you just ignore her behavior in the kennel.  She's obviously quite scared of the sights and sounds of a shelter environment, and comes off as if she doesn't even want to know you.  Please ask to meet her outside and you'll see who she really is.  October is an absolute love!  She is well-behaved, very friendly, playful, active and an all-around great girl.  She's housebroken, good with other dogs, she sits and offers you a pawshake when asked, and she's an expert fetcher!  She would love a home with a fenced yard and since she's a little leery of kids, she'll need a home with teens and up.  She deserves a great home and hopes that you'll welcome her into yours.  File#29047  8/1/19
