Riley of Toms River

riley of toms river

Riley sure has had his share of letdowns over the years.  Now, in his senior years, we're doing all we can to make his life just as happy and healthy as possible.  Riley came to us 2014 when he was just a young, healthy cat that was found as a stray.  He was quickly adopted, but was returned two different times over the years through no fault of his own.  When Riley returned to us in the summer of 2020, he was in sad shape.  Riley's needs were neglected over the years and his owner neglected to keep him on the prescription diet that he needed, and we also discovered the Riley was diabetic, which was also untreated.

We're very happy to say that after several months of treatment, Riley is feeling like a brand new cat!  He now receives daily insulin and is on his prescription diet, and he is loving life in Kitty City where he spends his days relaxing and socializing with the other cats.  Since his condition makes it more difficult to find him an adoptive home, Riley has been added to our Share-A-Pet program so he can get some extra love and attention from some wonderful sponsors.  Please consider becoming a part-time pet parent to our sweet Riley!
