Tara

Share:

Tara is such a sweet, older girl that just wants a nice, comfortable home to spend the rest of her life in. She's a 15 year old Cairn terrier that came to us with two younger dogs when the three were removed from a dreadful situation. They were living in the car of someone that decided to leave the dogs locked up on a 95 degree day while they went in a bar for a couple of hours. Tara was thrilled to be brought in, cleaned up, and have her medical needs tended to. She now appears to be younger than when she arrived over the summer, and she has the spring back in her step. She was being picked on by the other two dogs so Tara has been separated from them, opting to be adopted out to a home with a dog or cat that is easy going and won't cause her any grief. She is very mild-mannered, a little shy, but so incredibly sweet when she gets to know you. She is well behaved and gentle, and just wants to be treated with kindness and respect. If you can give her that, come in and meet Tara. File#28329 6/30/18
