Franklin is a sweet little guy of just 2 years old that has a sad past. He had several wounds that needed treatment when he arrived and with some good care, he's feeling great now and is ready to put his trust in a good family that will never let any harm befall him again. We discovered that Franklin is prone to having seizures. He's been put on medication that will control this and will need to stay on it indefinitely. Franklin only takes a minute to warm up to you, then he leans into your legs until he practically falls over in his attempt to get as much attention from you as possible. He's affectionate and gentle, and he sits when asked and is good on a leash. Franklin likes to zoom around and play, then goes right back to leaning on your leg for attention. He's obviously been hurt by another animal before so if he goes home with a dog, it must be a very gentle dog, but he will need a cat-free home. Call 609-693-1900 or email: to adopt Franklin.
