Located in Monmouth County, the Tinton Falls Shelter serves the largest amount of municipalities of all four Society facilities. Areas served range from heavily rural to inner city to ocean shore. As a result, Tinton Falls handles a wide variety of animals and circumstances, and has developed the expertise to handle anything from domestic animals to seagulls, wildlife to fighting cocks.

The original facility has been modernized and expanded numerous times in the last decade alone to accommodate the increase in animals due to increased residential development. New kennels have been added, free-roaming cat areas, a feral cat area and a small veterinary unit to care for and neuter the dogs and cats at Tinton Falls. For the new and improved Tinton Falls, please visit the facility, or come back soon to our web site where we will feature photos of this shelter.

Services offered at our Tinton Falls Shelter are as follows:

  • Adoption and surrender of cats, dogs and small pets
  • Animal Control Services for nearby, contracted towns
  • Radio-dispatched ambulances on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to handle emergencies
  • Treatment of illness and injury for shelter animals only
  • Spay and neuter of shelter animals only
