Blackie and Lulu Weathered the Ups and Downs

They arrived in a wire cage in an open back pick-up truck at the AHS Tinton Falls animal shelter. While an individual was walking through the parking lot, they heard a man screaming & yelling at the two dogs who were silently crouched together.

When the driver came in to the shelter, he advised that he was being evicted from his residence & he had to surrender his dogs. Blackie is about 8 years old and her daughter is 2 year old Lulu -- a family that has weathered the ups and downs, trials and tribulations and now must face separation from their previous existence.

Thankfully, the puggle-type dogs are friendly, mild-mannered and now have only the love that they can share with each other. They are bonded and look to a future together. For more information on the adorable duo, you can call 732-922-0100 or e-mail us -- or you can visit them any day of the week at 2960 Shafto Road in Tinton Falls!  Blackie and Lulu are waiting along with a hundred dogs and more cats hoping for a new life.
