Frail Pup Jillian Found Laying In Driveway

When the AHS Newark facility received an urgent call about a frail pup laying in someone's driveway. Perhaps you know the owner...but it is a sad fact that the Society has received hundreds of pups over the past year that were in dire need of kindness, care and veterinary attention.

Did you know the owner of this pup?  She's only 10 months old and she would have been dead within a very short time if we did not rescue her. She was brought back to our Newark Medical Dept. & found to be weak, dehydrated & undernourished.  She could not even lift her head. The Chihuahua/Terrier mix was put on IV fluids and later, she was given canned food...& finished her plate!

"Jillian" was brought to our Tinton Falls facility where a closer vigil could be kept on her. Under their watchful eye, she is steadily improving and is looking for the love and care that she hasn't had. We cannot grasp the mean-spirited lack of concern for a needy animal that is cruelly and illegally disposed of.

She's just a pup who would have been eager for acceptance but her heart was hurt by the lack of kindness by some idiot. Give Jillian just a little bit of attention & she will be waiting to return years of love and devotion.
