the tale of the plainfield poodles

These three little darlings are Bimba, Mia, and Princesa.  They're a happy trio that are feeling like brand new dogs these days, since their owner left them to go overseas.  Why would they be happy to be left by their owner?  Well, when you have such a neglectful person that is supposed to be caring for you and they actually provide no care at all, it's easy to understand why the three little ones are all smiles since coming to AHS.

Bimba, Mia, and Princesa, were in a right state when the owner's roommate brought them to the AHS Newark facility!  The dogs were matted beyond belief and the groomer sure had her work cut out for her.  She did a fabulous job cleaning them all up and releasing them from their matted, messy prisons of hair.  Once they were feeling up to it, the trio was sent to AHS/Popcorn Park to begin their search for a new home where they'll get all of the love and care that they deserve.

Bimba (male) and Mia (female) are about 2 years old and the poodles seem to be siblings.  Princesa is about 3 years old, and the maltese mix seems to be the leader of the group.  They are all extremely friendly, sweet, and well-mannered.  They love everyone they meet, they're quiet, and easy going.  They are extremely close and we will be looking for a home for them where they can stay together forever.

If you are interested in meeting these little sweeties, stop in at 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731 from 12pm to 5pm daily.  Call 609-693-1900 or email us at for more information.  Please consider making a donation to our Res-Q Fund on behalf of the Plainfield Poodles.  Without our Res-Q Fund, we could not do all that we do to help animals in need every day!
