after three years, the korean mastiffs have been granted their freedom

After three long years of waiting so patiently, they have finally reached the light at the end of the tunnel.  These four amazing, loving, beautiful, resilient dogs are finally free.  They are free to seek out wonderful homes that they've never experienced, free to find families that will love and care for them like they deserve.  The court case that necessitated these four Korean Mastiffs to remain in our care at AHS/Popcorn Park for over three years is finally over.

It began on July 1st, 2016, when six adult Korean Mastiffs and two puppies were found in the worst possible scenario in a yard in Newark, NJ.  The owner and breeder of these dogs was away, and left the dogs in someone else's care.  The dogs were found dehydrated and starving, after being left in the yard in scorching temperatures with no food, water or shelter for two full weeks.  One of the puppies perished due to this extreme cruelty.
