Humane News

Headlining our good news this issue are our four Korean mastiffs, finally free to find loving homes after waiting through a 3-year court ordeal. Also read about our other latest rescues – Raina, an emaciated Rottweiler rescued from the streets, and Toby the Lhasa Apso and June the pittie – both abandoned in apartments – but just take a look at them now! While reading the Humane News, please take a look at our wonderful new Share-A-Pets and some of our lovely Popcorn Park residents who would love having you as a sponsor. And – needless to say - our adoption hopefuls.

Read about major decisions made in the U.S. that threaten our wildlife, but also great news for all kinds of animals, both here and abroad. Were you aware that smuggling finches is a major operation in the U.S.? Or that the AHS works with domestic violence groups to help protect the animal victims in such situations? And, of course, we want to share heartwarming happy endings with you, as well as many kind people of all ages who extend a helping hand to our animals in so many ways. Inside are also featured current health warnings for your pets, legislation that may affect you and your pets, and so much more.
