Lucy

Lucy is the sweetest girl that needs a special and loving home.  Lucy is about 3 years old and she's a Greyhound/Lab mix that was turned in because her owner moved and couldn't take her along.  She was adopted from a rescue when she was a puppy and at some point, Lucy suffered heat stroke, which caused a seizure.  After that, she became very anxious and was prone to heat stroke going forward.  Lucy's temperament toward children changed after this incident as well.  She was very stressed when she arrived but with patience and understanding, Lucy is now happy to come out of her shell, relax, and soak up all the attention you'll give her.

She bonds with people the minute she gets to know them and just wants to be near you, give you a kiss or two, and chase after a ball or toy.  Lucy is well-behaved, quiet, gentle, and very sweet.  She needs a pet and kid-free home and just needs a little time to get to know you.  Once she does, she'll love you as much as a dozen pets if you give her a chance!  Call 609-693-1900 or email:  office@ahsppz.org for an application.  File#51270  5/2/21
