Mickey the Appaloosa
I was 8 years old when I arrived in 2009. Though blind in one eye and mildly handicapped, I am otherwise fine. When one owner passed on, I faced no place to reside; and no one wants a horse they cannot ride. My other owner assured me the auction would not be my fate; and he found Popcorn Park ... not a moment too late.
Because there was no special area within Popcorn Park to provide lifetime care for Mickey, we decided to try him with Holly the Donkey. She had been without any animals in her area since her best buddy Wrangler Jean passed away. Other farm animals had been placed with Holly but she was firm in her resolve that she wanted to be alone. But when Mickey arrived and was introduced, Holly allowed him in, slowly at first, and then accepted him. Since that time Holly passed away, and Mickey has been given extra-special, daily attention from staff. Please help support this lucky - and very handsome - boy.
