Vinnie just wanted to check in this morning to let everyone know that he is doing perfectly fine after his neuter, x rays and tests yesterday. Vinnie is one tough little boy … there's nothing he can't handle! It was very fitting that our little Vinnie Van Gogh was neutered on Feb. 25th, which is World Spay Day! Hopefully he will help raise awareness for the need of spaying and neutering our pets.
February is Spay/Neuter Awareness Month, and it's so very important to educate those who don't understand the importance of spaying/neutering. The facts that we gave little Vinnie yesterday before his little procedure are all true ... 5 million dogs and cats died in animal shelters in 2013 due to overpopulation. Breeding of our pets must stop in order to get this awful number down. So please follow Vinnie's example, and spay and neuter your pets. We don't need more dogs and cats in this world while so many wait in shelters to get adopted.
If you need to have your pet neutered and are in the New Jersey area, please check out our shelter information for the services that we offer.
More from Vinnie coming soon!
