Van Gogh Update - March 9

Although Vinnie didn't get the greatest news yesterday at his visit with the orthopedic specialist, he didn't let it get him down at all today. Broken hips or no broken hips, nothing was stopping our Vinnie boy from enjoying this nice weather!

He took a nice long ride in his stroller and was so happy to sniff out the world around him. He even stopped by our free-roaming cat yards and got his first look at some of our Popcorn Cats. They all rushed over to see Vinnie and he just loved the attention of course. After Vinnie meets a few more canine friends, we'll slowly introduce him to some cats as well. We can't imagine our sweet boy having a problem with anyone he meets. He just loves the world!

Vinnie is taking things a little easier now that we've gotten the news about his hips. He will be resting up well before his surgery and if he does venture outside, he will most definitely be chauffeured. Vinnie also has to get his wounds in better shape pre-surgery. His front leg injuries are healing up very well, but there is still one wound on his elbow that we're having a tough time with. We've ordered a special sock for this elbow to help heal it up quickly, so Vinnie should be feeling better with that real soon too.

As always, we want to thank you all so much for your support and thoughts for our miracle man, Vinnie. He still has a long road ahead of him and he will continue to need your thoughts and prayers. We are also grateful to our supporters who have contributed to our Res-Q Fund, which is the fund that we use to help our Vinnie on his journey to recovery. If you are able to make a donation to our Res-Q Fund, please donate here. Thanks so much, and please stay tuned for more from the Invincible Vinnie!
