Van Gogh - Update - May 22

Vinnie is starting to wonder ... back when he was slipping and sliding on all that snow and ice a couple of months ago, should he have kept his wishes for warm, spring-like weather to himself? Not only has Vinnie decided that he is NOT a fan of rain, but he has informed us that rain is his mortal enemy, and he will wage war against us if we force him to go out in it.

Vinnie has become an enormous sissy with getting those little precious paws of his all wet and funky, and he actually refused to go out in it this morning, and instead opted to use his good old puppy pads for his lavatory needs. Even when the rain turned into just a drizzle, Vinnie refused to let any of us use an umbrella while he had to get himself all damp and uncomfortable, so he took it away from us!

Vinnie is doing great with his exercise regimen and we put him to work several times a day. He still needs lots of exercise to get his hips in shape after his surgeries, and he also needs to keep his joints moving constantly since we also discovered arthritis and some nerve damage in his front legs. He suffered the nerve damage due to the awful injuries to his front legs, and they get a bit stiff from time to time. As long as Vinnie keeps himself up, moving, and mobile, he'll get those legs in good shape real soon. We're just thrilled with the progress that he has made so far, and know that with his strength and endurance, he can only get better from here!

If you have missed any of Vinnie's updates or don't know his original story, simply enter Van Gogh in the Site Search box to get caught up. Thanks for following our boy along on his journey, and please stay tuned for more from the Invincible Vinnie!
