Barron Bears the Mark of Cruelty

He will always bear the marks of how someone was cruel & uncaring as to cause him pain. The pit bull was found running up and down a street in Newark until a good samaritan was able to get him into a yard and then contacted AHS. This poor dog was undeserving of such cruel treatment.

Barron was immediately brought to our Medical Dept. who believes it may have been chemicals or boiling water thrown at him as it traveled down his back. The injuries have healed but it is a broken heart that needs to be mended.

Over the past few years, we have seen an increase in the mean-spirited and malicious acts that have been perpetrated on animals by owners and by others. We have seen the open-hearted affection by dogs who are waiting to give loyal & grateful obedience even after they have been treated badly.

Please contribute toward the care that is needed for Barron and other rescues, just text ResQ to 501501 to make a $10.00 donation, or click here to donate to our Res-Q Fund.

Barron is ready for adoption & waiting to give his heart. For more information, call 973-824-7080 and refer to File 24482-M or email us.
