The 6 year old Persian came to the Society's Newark Animal Care Center due to an injury on her back. The woman had no money for the care of Lotus and released her to the Society. The cat has a gentle personality and loves to be held and gives kisses. It was decided to treat the wound and once it cleared up, Lotus would be placed for adoption.
The wound was cultured and given medication for several weeks. But its persistence has left us no alternative but to have Lotus checked by Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls. After treatment for this lovable Persian is completed, she will be returned to the Society's Newark facility so that she can find a meowvelous lifetime of love. File 54561-N (Medical)
