When an Asbury Park tenant was evicted, the landlord threw all of his belongings outside of the building. Along with the tenant's "garbage" was the young dog that had belonged to him. She was discovered the next day buried in her owner's clothing by the mail carrier who alerted the Society. Our Animal Control Officer was dispatched to the scene and rescued her.
