From Trash to Treasure - Puppy Rescued from Garbage

An innocent needy pup was tossed into a garbage can like a worthless piece of trash. Only hours away from death, a passerby found her and brought her to the Society. She was immediately put on intravenous feeding for a few hours.

Due to a long weekend ahead, she was brought to the Executive Director's house for intensive care, warmth and feeding to bolster efforts to keep her alive. If it was to be her last day on earth, we wanted her to know that she was worthy of love. The long hours of loving care strengthened and encouraged her will to live. We call her Pia and she has become a very affectionate pup looking for a lifetime of love in a forever home. (Newark).

If interested in giving Pia the devoted home she deserves, please contact us.
