Buddy Rescued - Left in Crate in Scorching Heat

This handsome young man is Buddy, a 1 year old pit bull that the Associated Humane Societies removed from some pretty lousy circumstances. Little Buddy was left outside in a crate on the side of a house in 90+ degree temperatures, without shade, food or water. The Animal Control Officer was alerted to Buddy's sad situation and when she arrived, she found Buddy laying in his own feces, panting terribly from the heat.

Since the owner refused to take proper care of Buddy, the Society brought Buddy to the Forked River shelter where he is absolutely loving life! Buddy is now happy, healthy, and ready for a great home. This young pup surely didn't have much of a life up until this point, so he is so grateful to be well fed and cared for. He has made so many friends and is very outgoing.

Buddy in filthy crate on side of the house.

Buddy was left with empty bowls and filthy conditions.

Buddy loves his walks and playtime in our exercise yard. Buddy can use a little training on the leash, but he is young, smart, and a fast learner. He loves people so much, but would prefer a home with no other pets. Buddy is fun loving, energetic, and would love a wonderful home with an active family that will give him exercise, a nice yard to play in, and plenty of love and attention. Buddy would love to start life over again .... maybe it will be with you! File#22506
