Although June is Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat Month, we celebrate Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat Month 365 days a year! The Society has started its "celebration" several weeks early! This year, the Society has received a record number of stray cats and kittens that would make purrrrfect laptop companions. Holding a cat in your arms and petting a feline friend can reduce stress and stabilize blood pressure! Isn't that a comforting thought? Visit any of our shelters -- Newark, Tinton Falls or Forked River, fill out an Adoption Application and pick out the lifetime companion of your choice.
Not only will you receive a healthy, purrrrsonable cat or kitten, your cat will receive all necessary inoculations, microchipping, collar, tag and pet carrier and will be spayed or neutered.
The two cats pictured are Lucy and Ethel -- two best friends. Within a few weeks of each other, two kittens arrived at the Societies' Tinton Falls Animal Care Center -- both in need of warmth, food and comfort. We knew that each would give warmth and comfort to each other. That was 6 months ago ... and they are both waiting for adoption. Sadly, their life is still on hold and they do not yet know the security and love that only a home can provide. They will be neutered prior to adoption.
It is our hope that your heart and your home are spacious enough to include them both. Contact us if you can give a lifetime of love to this adorable pair or stop by. File TF-58087-SF and File TF-57287-SF (Tinton Falls).
