Burned Cat Needs Secure, Loving Home

He may have belonged to someone but was left outside for quite some time. The Society was called out to rescue this gent who had been badly burned on his side and back. He has been convalescing in the Society’s Medical Department where he is slowly improving. We call him Ember and we hope he will light a fire in your heart. File N-90754-M (Newark). Please contact us if you could give this sweet fella a new start in life.

Over 4 million cats end up in shelters every year and we do not want Ember to end up as a statistic. The Society has offered a $1,000.00 reward for any information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) who abused this cat.

Pictured here is an after photo of Ember - he is healing -- and feeling -- quite well. As you can see, there he is hope in his eyes, and he hopes it will be you coming to give him a safe and loving home.
